2. How We Handle Your Media (Photos & Videos)

Your privacy regarding the media you create is our top priority. We employ strict rules regarding your photos and videos:

Default Local Storage: By default, all photos and videos captured using the AR Mirror Lab app are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. When you choose to "Save to Gallery," or share via third-party apps (like WhatsApp or Instagram), the media goes directly from your device to those platforms without passing through our database.

The "Email a Friend" Feature: The only exception occurs when you explicitly choose the "Email a Friend" option within the app. To facilitate this feature:

The specific photo or video you select will be uploaded to our secure server.
Our server generates a unique, private link to that media file.
This link is then sent via email to your intended recipient.
We do not use these uploaded images/videos for any other purpose (such as marketing, AI training, or public display).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information (Name and Email ID) for the following purposes:

To verify your identity using a One-Time Password (OTP) during the initial login.
To facilitate the "Email a Friend" sharing functionality.
To communicate with you regarding upcoming updates (such as the personalized AR lenses feature), technical notices, and security alerts.
To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our service (e.g., email delivery services for OTPs and sharing links). These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
